Compressors R Us, Inc. (CRU), is dedicated to serving the OEM and National Account sectors of the HVAC industry as an out-source partner in the re-manufacturing of semi-hermetic air conditioning and refrigeration compressors. Our focus is in 20 hp & larger Copeland, Carrier & Trane compressors.

CRU is an ISO 9001:2000 registered company and we utilize Demand Flow Technology (DFT) business and manufacturing processes. Probably unlike any other company in the compressor remanufacturing industry, however, we inspect, track and verify all parts and elements of the complete receiving, disassembly, re-qualification, re-manufacturing, testing and shipping/distribution process. This simply means that we document everything done to a remanufactured core, thus treating each compressor as a patient as it undergoes a re-birth to meet OEM requirements.

After each compressor has completed our 7-step re-manufacturing DFT process, which includes full run-testing for confirmation of compression, mass-flow, lubrication and electrical performance, all details of its life at CRU are captured in a birth certificate.
